Keep that Self Esteem Up!

Individuals often seek help in developing their confidence or improving their self-esteem, although self-acceptance also be a goal in some circumstances.

-Self-Confidence. This usually signifies considering one's ability to acquire some purpose or to achieve well and it can apply to either quite specific or quite vague circumstances. Confidence can be affected by depressoion, tension, undesirable views, or frustrating problems at work.

-Self-Esteem. This signifies ones sense of self-worth. Seeing ourselves in a valuable light, is often appropriate to boost self-image. Low self-esteem is often associated with tension or depression.

-Self-Acceptance. This is perhaps a change to self-esteem, which tends to be centered. Self-acceptance indicates giving of ourselves “warts and all” rather than generating acceptance of ourselves centered on achieving some standard or purpose.
